New hydrogel bioinks crosslinked by dynamic hydrazone bonds simultaneously addressed challenges of printability and biofunctionality in 3D printing. Furthermore, printed double-network hydrogels were amenable to functionalization by photopatterning, demonstrating a versatile combination of biofabrication techniques for establishing heterogeneity across multiple length scales.
