摘要

This paper presents the design and results of error decoder for monopulse auto-tracking receiver. The presented error decoder is specifically designed for antenna systems where errors are sent as a composite signal over a single coaxial wire from the feed source mounted on a parabolic dish. Errors are modulated locally as AM on LNA as the envelope of the PCM/FM received signal. The coaxial simultaneously carries error and data signals from which the error decoder exclusively calculates azimuth and elevation error voltages and drives the corresponding servos of the antenna system. The design of error decoder along with the performance results for tests conducted in the anechoic chamber are presented in the following text.
