摘要

Conclusions: We have successfully developed a new model to longitudinally track peri-implant angiogenesis and osteoconduction in real-time. Our results provide evidence that pericytes are brought into the wound site by invasion of the site by capillaries. The dynamic and trafficking of these osteoprogenitor cells in the peri-implant wound microenvironment is controlled by the rate and pattern of the microvascularization. The latter is enhanced by nano-structurally complex implant surfaces.
