This paper presents a design methodology of a series rectifier structure at 5.9 GHz dedicated to wireless power transfer. Theoretical approach using closed-form equations is implemented in MATLAB code to predict the performances and to set the rectifier parameters. Then, these preliminary results are included in KEYSIGHT ADS Software for full design. Good agreement is found between measurement results and simulation results as well as analytical model estimation. At an input RF power of 0 dBm, the designed rectifier achieves a conversion efficiency of 52 % and a DC output voltage of 1.31 V for a DC load of 3.3 kΩ.
