With the rapid development of high speed railway, the transport capacity of railway system has increased substantially, in which case passengers' requirements for travel quality are more demanding. Therefore, grasping passengers' satisfaction with rail travel is of great significance. The majority of current researches about railway passengers' satisfaction focus on a single railway line, while the comparison among different lines is neglected, as well as the effects of access and egress journeys. The paper takes three typical lines (high speed railway, intercity railway, and conventional railway) in Shanghai-Nanjing Corridor as research objects. Based on a satisfaction survey, three binary logit models are developed for each line to identify main factors of satisfactory degree. The results show that both train services and transfer journeys play important but different roles in three lines. The findings are helpful for improvements of railway service and promotions of passengers' satisfaction.
