Gaining a Full Understanding of the New Trends in China's Development of Cargo Transportation under New Normal Economy

摘要

This paper firstly analyzes the trend in China's cargo volume, cargo turnover, and their growth rate since the twelfth five-year plan. Then, it compares and analyzes the trend and features of the development of cargo transportation in China and in the United States with respect to economic development, index of total freight tonnages, and evolution of transportation structure. Finally, it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to respond to the new trend for the development of cargo transportation under new normal from the perspectives such as cargo transportation demands and increase, transportation structure, transportation organization mode, freight representation, freight space distribution, etc. Thus, it hopefully provides references and basis and basis for gaining a full understanding of the development of cargo transportation in China under new normal.
