In this paper, sliding mode control is designed and implemented on three phase inverter with an output LC filter which is mostly used for an AC sinusoidal voltages. The aim of controller is to achieve robustness against uncertain disturbances which may degrade the performance. The designed controller keeps the filter inductor currents in desirable limits and also suppresses the high frequency vibrations i.e., chattering. The dynamic model of the three phase inverter is simulated in MATLAB environment. The efficiency of the controller is shown via the simulation results.
