摘要

In the fast moving world of smart urban conglomerates, emergency services need to move even faster through the crowded infrastructure. Providing the emergency crew with a route that avoids congestions can save valuable travel time. It is challenging to compute such a route fast enough for practical usage while taking into consideration traffic fluctuations, uncertainties, and unpredictable user behaviour. The approach presented in this paper addresses these issues and proposes a solution based on evolutionary algorithms for generating routes for emergency vehicles. The algorithm is tested in an agent based traffic simulation environment. The results of the test show early computational feasibility that opens possibilities for implementation in distributed real world environments.
