This paper discusses the route planning problem of the helicopters mustered to search the underwater target in the appointed area. The dipping sonar is considered to be used based on the analysis of different searching machines. Then the computation of search time, the coordinates of the detection dots, and the arrangement of the detection dots to helicopters are proposed to solve the route planning problem. Finally, the solution and an example of the proposed algorithm are given.
