Influence of Kneepad Tightness on Women’s Knee Joint Protection in Running

Running contributes to enhancing skeletal muscles and accelerating blood circulation, and many exercisers choose running as their daily exercise program. However, knee joint injury tends to happen frequently if runners fail to pay enough attention to self-protection. The article is based on the principle of knee joint injury, selecting speed and kneepads' tightness as influencing factors which may change the knee joint angle. The testes are required to wear knee pad which have 3 different tightness. And then, their Three-dimensional knee joint angle are tested, under the running speed of 2 km/h, 4 km/h, 6 km/h on the treadmills respectively, by using The Qualisys Track Manager. According to the law of movement analysis and the comfortable range of knee tight oppression, the conclusions show that: both the increase of the knee joint motion amplitude and the increase of the speed will enhance the exercise load of knee. In allowed range, with the increase of kneepads' tightness, the knee joint Three-dimensional Angle activity will reduce and the protective effec.t is better.
