A knee joint movement protection system and knee joint movement monitoring and protection method, comprising: a knee-support flexible material base (10) worn on a knee joint of a movement subject; a monitoring and sensing device (20) provided on the knee-support flexible material base (10) for monitoring movement state data of the knee joint; a control portion (30) provided on the knee-support flexible material base (10) for receiving and processing the movement state data of the knee joint monitored by the monitoring and sensing device (20) so as to form a data transmission signal; a terminal unit communicatively connected to the control portion (30). The control portion (30) transmits the data transmission signal to the terminal unit, and the terminal unit adjusts a movement state of the knee joint according to an indication of the received data transmission signal. The technical solution resolves the issue in which current knee joint movement state monitoring methods cannot perform real-time monitoring on the movement subject, and are thus unable to correct the movement posture of the knee joint of the movement subject in real time.
