Privacy and trust relations in Internet of Things from the user point of view

摘要

As technology related devices continue to surround us, emerging notion of Internet of Things (IoT) was simply inevitable. By the completion of IoT technology in all terms, we will able to connect to not only our surrounding devices but also to our far distance devices (via Internet) in a seamless fashion, to gather information sensed by them (e.g. thermostat readings from home automation system) and also send commands to actuator units to fulfill a job (e.g. closing the home heating system remotely). Although this technology will ease our lives, it possesses inherent challenges and dangers that IoT developers need to consider. One of the foremost challenges of IoT is Security. In this work, privacy and trust for IoT is presented from the authors' point of view; as a multi-dimensional relation, which will be a step forward in the efforts of devising Security for IoT, especially for the FIDO applications.
