The current security maritime scenario has deeply evolved and changed; nowadays, maritime environment presents a combination of asymmetric threats of a varying nature. Threats relating to maritime security primarily concern unlawful activities such as trafficking in human beings and narcotics, illegal migration, terrorism, and piracy.
