1. The tariff design influences the speed of diffusion and the absolute as well as relative attractiveness of the self-consumption concepts.2. The current speed of the diffusion of self-consumption concepts causes only relevant levels of the cross-subsidization from the year 2025 on. No need for a rushed decision for a new tariff design.3. Changing the tariff design will reduce the attractiveness of self-consumption concepts with new renewable energies. If the targets of the Swiss energy strategy 2050 are still on, the adoption of the tariff design should be combined with the mutual establishment of a alternative support mechanism for new renewable energies.
