The thermal coupling of PEM fuel cell (PEMFC) and Metal Hydride (MH) is expected to be promising, because as the PEMFC produces more power, more heat is generated accordingly [1], Thus the PEMFC is demanding for a higher rate of hydrogen and hence more heat is required by the MH to match its hydrogen discharge rate [2-4]. Heat pipes can thermally bridge MH and PEMFC, and due to their high thermal conductivities heat can be conducted passively; hence, parasitic energies associated with active methods of cooling can be avoided [5-7].
