Fault detection in hydropower systems using residuals method

摘要

This paper presents a structure for faults detection and localization for a class of nonlinear systems described by equations specific fluid flow through pipes, using a method based on model and residues methods. We study the actuator's faults detection and the leakages of pipes using residual vectors. This method was experimentally verified using the mathematical model for the lab installation. The simulation was developed under Matlab Simulink.
