For reducing mounting space and improving the power density of drive system, it is of great significance to investigate the estimation of the rotation and position of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). In this paper, a sensorless control strategy based on the model reference adaptive system (MRAS) has been proposed. Meanwhile, with SiC-MOSFET applied instead of the Si-IGBT device for a higher switching-frequency, that the load-side current can be improved with lower harmonics, and the satisfied performance of the control system based on MRAS can be furtherly promoted. Finally, the proposed strategy will be verified by the simulation and experiment results.
