摘要

EURODIA has developed a very flexible process for the treatment of the effluents from decoloration resins. That process can be adapted according to the constraints of the sugar factory. The main idea of that process is to use water several times before to be disposed. It is a combination of: 1. direct recycling of intermediate streams 2. very selective nanofiltration membranes in order to have a strict separation between color and salt 3. The addition of a concentration step by evaporation or combination of RO and ED membranes contribute to recover salts from diluted streams and high quality water and to improve de environmental foot print of the decoloration step.
