We are very pleased to welcome you to participate in the ASME 2015 34th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering (OMAE2015) at St. John's, May 31-June 5, 2015. St. John's is a city of Ocean Excellence and is home to many world-class facilities and offshore/marine industries. St. John's is ideally suited to host this prestigious event particularly in view of the community's international reputation for excellence in ocean, offshore and Arctic engineering research as well as the offshore activities here. Memorial University maintains a very active portfolio of cold-ocean and offshore research. Memorial's researchers are engaged in leading-edge research in areas of offshore technology, ice management, underwater autonomous vehicles, enhanced oil and gas drilling technology, pipeline design and technologies for harsh environment explorations and operations. The focus of the research is on finding engineering solutions that will enable further development of Newfoundland and Labrador's oil and gas reserves and position the province with the expertise required to develop the lucrative offshore resources in the Arctic.
