Time-domain evidence for an excitonic insulator

摘要

Time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy with a high-harmonic-generation source is used to classify the potential excitonic insulator 1 T-TiSe_2 and the reference Peierls-Mott insulator 1 T-TaS_2 on the basis of the melting times of "spectroscopic order parameters".
