In this study, the results shown the following conclusion: (1) The results presented here suggest that there is a significant difference when using yeast extract which are from different manufactures. By contrast, there is no significant difference in yeast extract which are from different production date of the same factory. (2) Strain 6#-7 possessed clearly higher activities of production of e-PL with 15 g/L yeast extract, with a 6-fold enhancement compared to group without yeast extract. (3) The concentration of yeast extract has a significant influence on the activity of key enzyme and further lead to the improvement of the yield of e-PL.
