摘要

An aluminium disc is levitated above a two-coil arrangement in a magnetic flux well. The ferrite core for the coils ensures a low voltage and wattage system can be implemented at a relative high frequency of operation, effectively increasing the levitation force for a given system structure and operating conditions. A coupled circuit analysis of the system allows an estimate of the lifting force to be derived from circuit operating values.
