We propose a Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation (HILS) system for the development of power supply control software. The HILS is software inspection technology for a micro controller for an embedded system such as an automotive system. The HILS emulates the control object in real time. The HILS is useful for software debugging and abnormal tests which have not destroyed the real control object. However, there are issues for conventional HILS systems. The control frequency is limited to under a few kilo Hertz (kHz). For the solution, we propose using a transfer function for real time simulation. The new system implements more than 100 kHz for a real time simulation. In this paper, the soft start, load step and abnormal test is experimentally confirmed.
