摘要

This work examined the effect of auditory and visual secondary tasks caused by IVIS on drivers' vision by on-road experiment and simulator test. Thirty three participants participated in the test. In on-road test, drivers performed driving task with voice prompt and non-voice prompt navigation device mounted on different positions. In simulator experiment, participants were asked to perform visual and auditory secondary tasks in different types and difficult levels. K-means clustering analysis and Convex hull algorithm were used to divide drivers' interest area and compute visual search area. The differences of drivers' pupil area, subjective ratings and secondary tasks duration were compared. The results of on-road experiment showed when IVIS were installed in position 2 with voice prompts, the impact could be controlled to the minimum. Moreover, simulator test's results showed visual secondary tasks' gaze points were the most disperse, visual search area was the smallest, pupil area varied most greatly. Visual and auditory secondary tasks increased drivers' workload and the impact of visual secondary tasks to the driver is more obvious.
