Research on Closed Loop Control System of Double Coils Contactor

The main factors affecting the electrical life of contactor are the arc and two bounces produced by the opening and closing of contact. Through the research of double coils AC contactor, this paper proposes a closed loop control method based on velocity. Through the velocity feedback, the excitation coil current is adjusted in real time so that the contactor can work at a predetermined velocity, reducing wear and two bounces. And electrical life and reliability are improved.
