PURPOSE: To improve traveling characteristic and to realize alleviation of a noise and an impact by providing a means for limiting an aging change of a control signal in controlling an actuator disposed between wheels of a body by a control signal responsive to a traveling state. ;CONSTITUTION: The system for closed-loop controlling and/or open loop controlling closed loop control and/or open loop controllable shaft comprises sensors S101, S102,... for detecting a traveling state such as a relative motion between a body and a wheel, a vehicle acceleration, a steering angle, a wheel rotational speed or the like, inputs their detection signals to a control target force forming means 11 for calculating a damper target force Fdvr, Fdvl, Fdhr, Fdhl of each wheel. Their calculated results are then input to a signal limiting means 12 to compare a present value of the damper target force with a preceding value, to compare a quantitative change of the target value with a first threshold value if the present value is larger than the preceding value or to compare the present value with a second threshold value if the present value is larger than the preceding value. Actuators 13vr, 13vl, 13hr, 13hl are controlled to be driven in response to a deviations to regulate the attitude of the body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
