Silicon/Carbon Nanofiber (Si/CNF) and Silicon/Carbon Nanofiber/ Carbon Nanotube (Si/CNF/CNT) nanocomposite anode materials were produced by mechanical alloying and subsequently then heat treatment methods. Produced nanocomposite structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD) and Raman Spectroscopy. Electrochemical performance of the produced electrodes were tested between 0.05V and 1.5V at a constant current density of 200 mAg~(-1). As a result, the produced Si/CNF/CNT nanocomposite electrodes containing 50 wt.% CNT showed 1127 mAhg~(-1) discharge capacity even after 100 cycles.
