Optimal Control and Electro-control System Design of A New Style Aircraft Arresting Device

The principle of new style electro-hydraulic controlled aircraft arresting system that leads in electrical signal is introduced. It is convenient to construct automatic control system by computer. Dynamic analysis was done for actuating mechanism, the method of linearization and MATLAB function was applied and mathematical model of the system was built. Based on the system model, optimal PID controller was designed. When simulating, the graphical user interfaces was easy to manipulate and satisfied function request. Simulation result shows that optimal PID controller applied in new style electro-hydraulic controlled aircraft arresting system obtains good controlling effectiveness. After simulating analysis, the hardware of the electro-control system including interface circuit of power supply part, count part, amplification part and communication part was designed. Test results indicate that electro-control system can control behaviors of electro-hydraulic valve according to inputting signals.
