摘要

Fuel assembly is the core of nuclear reactor. Although fuel assembly has been designed, manufactured and operated to a very high level, reactor safe operating limits also allow fuel assembly to have a certain breakage rate, however, if fuel assembly is broken, fission products will escape from the break, which may affect reactor operation and environmental safety. Based on the theory of fission product release after the breakdown of fuel assemblies, this paper has described the work about breakage detection based on sip and data analysis techniques. The study results indicate that the method of detecting fission gas samples by sipping and combining data analysis techniques can feasibly detect and evaluate fuel assembly breakage.
