摘要

The research of philosophy appears linguistic turns and raises the proposition of "the study of language is to study the ideas themselves". The effect of language on cognition performs in many aspects which are based on numerous facts and results of cognitive psychology. Despite the language influences cognition is confirmed in different languages or same language, the ultimate goal of language comprehension by means of language forms to create sense and reaches to the illocutionary act. Does language influence cognition and in turn affect the behavior? Is the behavior enslaved to language? In this regard, the discussion of speech act theory possesses ground breaking. Language, society and psychology are integrated while speech act as the axis which is the significance of speech act theory.
