1. The results obtained with this Test shows that the decolourization process using anionic resins, regenerated with the saccharate process, and granular activated carbon, regenerated with the ethanol process, is efficient, and more economical than the traditional method using NaCl+NaOH 2. This process is used when effluents from regeneration can be sent to an ethanol Distillery. This Distillery can be placed in the same industrial plant or, alternatively, effluents can be transported to a nearby Distillery.
