Comparing with EMI type test of 50km/h high-speed train, minimum scan time applied to 400km/h EMI test was accurately calculated based on electrical design of the whole train. 400km/h EMI test was completed in the field. Test results indicated that 150k-1.15MHz EMI of 300, 350,400km/h high-speed train were more than that of 50km/h high-speed train required by EN 50121-3-1:2015, amplitudes of many frequency points increased 40dB. Moreover, in the frequency band of 150k-750kHz, the magnetic field strength is proportional to the speed and power. Based on electrical parameters, influencing factors which cause the adding of 400km/h high-speed train were further analyzed. These factors included increasing current and power, pantograph-contact line current and collecting performance as well as stray parameters. Decreasing arcing rate, optimizing the wiring, active filtering were applied to restrain EMI of 400km/h high-speed train.
