The rotating angle measurement of turntable has been widely used in the life, and the efficiency which get the rotation angle of the rotary table by manual reading is too low. About this problem, this paper presents a new measuring method from the perspective of machine vision, it can read the rotation angle of the rotary table automatically. Specifically, it involves a method of using the monocular vision system and the laser launcher to achieve the fast and automatic output the rotating angle of the rotary table, it has a lot of advantages, such as non-contact, real-time, high efficiency, low cost, easy operation, no manual measurement and soon. In real time synchronization, this article also discusses the restrictions on user defined parameters. In the complex environment, after several experiments, the results show that the maximum relative error of the angle measurement method based on visual spot automatic interpretation is less than 0.5%, which verifies the feasibility of the scheme, it also proves that the system has high positioning accuracy and high efficiency.
