Expressway Operations Management Using a GPS Vehicle Location Management System: Effective Working Vehicle Management and Information Provisions for Users

Vehicle location management systems based on GPS signals are widely utilized by public transportation companies such as taxi or bus services in order to improve and streamline their services and to enhance services for customers. The purpose of this article is to report a streamlining system based on the proper operation of working vehicles and the establishment of appropriate working systems and provisions for precise information for expressway users on a real-time basis. This is done by understanding the real-time location and work related information of working vehicles utilizing this ITS technology.
