Photophysics of metal halide perovskites: Single crystals, nanocrystals, thin films, and photonic devices

We summarize the optical properties of lead halide perovskite single crystals, nanocrystals, and solar cells based on perovskite thin films. The complementary information from various spectroscopic and electrical measurements allows us to discuss their photocarrier dynamics with respect to photonic device applications.
