We propose simple model of stochastic intercore crosstalk (ICTX) in which the time dependency is included by Gaussian filtering of random phase shifts (RPS) introduced in known discrete changes model of inter-core crosstalk in real homogeneous multi-core fibers (MCF). Numerical simulations have been performed to verify proposed model and good agreement between the simulation and theory was obtained. The model can be used to theoretical investigation of MCF-based systems, e.g., for design and optimization of adaptive transmission techniques.
