OFDM: A Flexible and Adaptive Air Interface for a 4G Mobile Communication System

摘要

In this paper, the current vision on the use of an OFDM multi-carrier transmission technique air interface is presented which is technically a strong and attractive candidate for future 4G systems. The paper describes a technical concept based on an OFDM system. In this context one of the most important questions in system design will be the proper use of a multiple access scheme in combination with the OFDM transmission technique.
