摘要

We show that 3D-integrated perpendicular Nanomagnetic Logic (pNML) is highly suitable for the demands of systolic array-based computing. Architecture, signal processing and electrical integration of 3D pNML devices into CMOS integrated circuits (ICs) is discussed. A runtime-programmable arithmetic logic unit (ALU) made from field-coupled magnets and applicable for pipelined and massively parallel information processing in systolic arrays is presented. Simulation results prove the functionality of the ALU for next-generation 3D-integrated magnetic computing.
