摘要

Our research group has started to design and develop an application which holds the most important attributes for today's world like intelligence, adaptation and extensibility. The base idea behind this work (which is called by us as Smart Campus) is to help, improve and ease the everyday tasks and communication between students and instructors in a University environment. The proposed distributed and layered architecture exposing all the necessary features (scalability and extensibility) to achieve its goals. We have followed the proper standards, recommendations and protocols during the design phase. The primary requirements are based on the functionalities which are missing or need to be improved in our University's Campus. Our result is a system which provides real-time interaction between its users and integrates the most important external data sources to support its users using services in a cloud environment.
