We examined the propositon that transformational leadership behaviors enhance theirfeedback seeking behavior, and, therefore, motivates them to exhibit higher employeecreativity. We aruged that transformational leadership behaviors would be positively relatedto employee creativity, with feedback seeking behaviors mediating this relationship. Besides,we also noted that transformational leadership behaviors would be more strongly relatedfeedback seeking behaviors while employees exhibit higher level of LMX (leader-memberexchange) quality with the supervisor. Further, we also noted that feedback seeking behaviorswould be more stronglty related to employee creativity when the supervisor attributeemployees' motives to be performance enhancement motives, and that feedback seekingbehavior would be more weaklty related to employee creativity when the supervisor attributeemployees' motives to be performance impression management motives. Finally, we discuss practical and theoretical implication.
