The Australian Army is now properly in the Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (WAS) game with the successful fielding of the RQ-7B SHADOW 200 TUAS. It's been a long path though, with many lessons learned, and enabled so successfully only with the assistance of US partnering and some key individuals doing some very hard work. This paper is that story.
