Following a participatory approach from the very beginning of the project helped the whole team to grasp the needs of the target groups in a very detailed manner and at an early point of the project. The very constructive workshop with the teachers served to get a first idea of the specific working contexts in European schools, it helped the involved teachers to get a better idea of what kind of science content and tools for science teaching is available to enrich science curricula, to clarify the best approach in how to provide access and overall to establish a good and constructive working relationship in an expanded team of researchers, providers, and educational practitioners.
