A series of phosphors (Sr_(1-x)Mn_x)3(PO_4)_2:Eu~(2+) (x=0-0.1) were synthesized via a high-temperature solid-state reaction. The photoluminescence properties were systematically analyzed. In addition, color-tunable can be realized by turning the Eu~(2+)/Mn~(2+) ratio. Conclusions suggest that the single-phase (Sr~(0.95)Mn~(0.05))_3(PO_4)_2:0.01Eu~(2+) phosphor may have a potential application as a near-UV convertible while-light emission phosphor for white LEDs.
