摘要

The effect of Sr content in Mg was proved to be dose dependent with respect to mechanical and corrosion properties and the optimal Sr amount was 2wt.%. The in vitro cell experiment indicated as-rolled Mg-2Sr alloy exhibited Grade I cytotoxicity and improved ALP activity. The in vivo investigation results showed that as-rolled Mg-2Sr alloy gradually degraded within bone marrow cavity and the degradation process did not induce adverse effect during 4 weeks implantation. All in all, as-rolled Mg-2Sr alloy seems to be promising as orthopedic biodegradable materials.
