Paclitaxe/PCL electrospun fibers coating on the stent were prepared by blend electrospinning. The coating of electrospun membrane could not only improve the mechanical properties but also sustained release paclitaxe. The release profiles of paclitaxe from electrospun fibers can be adjusted by addition of different amounts of paclitaxe. In addition, in vitro and in vivo tests demonstrated that the paclitaxe /PCL electrosun fibers could inhibit SMC growth and hypertrophic scar. All of these results indicated that the electrospun PCL/paclitaxe coated stents have great potential in clinical applications in curing of human benign cardia stricture.
