Research on the Countermeasures of Local Government Dealing with Network Public Opinion Based on SWOT

In recent years, the influence of the network public opinion has become increasingly important for local government in making policies, implementing policies, managing the society as well as creating the image of the government. Therefore, it is significance to study the local government's treatment of the network public opinion. Based on the defined connotation of the network public opinion, this paper analyzes local government's existing issue in the process of dealing with the network public opinion by using SWOT analysis approach, and it illustrates the causes of title problems come from two aspects, which is handling mechanism and coping subject. Finally, it also puts forward the related countermeasures of perfecting early warning mechanism, improving guidance ability of public opinion and enhancing the awareness of the public officials etc.
