Analysis on the Training Experience and Training Requirement of Rural Laborers under the Perspective of Group Differentiation——based on a Survey in Liaoning Province

This paper divide rural laborers into two groups,namely,common laborers and elite laborers.Elite laborers are subdivided into four categories.The research is conducted to find out whether there is a difference in the training experience and training requirement between various laborer groups.Regression is conducted on survey data about rural laborers in Liaoning province adopting probabilistic weight.The results show that elite groups are more likely to get training opportunities than common group.It is especially the case for village leaders and technological demonstration households.Training experience is likely to increase the future training requirement,but the effect is not significant.There is a differentiation in the elite group in terms of training requirement.Compared with common laborers,the probability for village cadres and technological demonstration households to involve themselves in training activities will increase as they have participated in trainings,but it will not be a noticeable increase.The larger the farmland acreage a laborer manages,the higher probability he will possess to participate in trainings.On the other hand,the training requirement for cooperatives members is lower than that of common laborers.
