摘要

On the base of equal-parametric method, this paper presents a new algorithm of adaptive step lengths on parametric coordinate system. The algorithm considers the radius of the curvature difference between different cutter contact points. To meet the premise of precision and roughness,the algorithm have optimized cutter attitude, planning cutter location path generation for five-axis machining. This algorithm is suitable for machining sculptured surface.
