Studies on the ancicent iron smelting sites and slags in Hebei Handan Wuan Cuilu

摘要

The ancient iron smelting sites in hebei HANDAN WUAN CUILU was found in 1986, This document introduce the sites, include the position, the SEM for slags, and discuss the possible technology for iron smelting. A preliminary judgment is that this site was built in SONG dynasty (about 960–1279 AD), the possible technology for iron melting is wrought steel.
