Poly(ammonium bisphosphonate) homopolymers and poly(ammonium bisphosphonate)-g-PEO copolymers were formed through radical copolymerization of a novel aminobisphosphonate monomer with an acrylate PEO macromonomer. DLS analyses of a copolymer at pH 7.4 showed aggregates with intensity average diameters of 224 nm beginning at a critical micelle concentration of ~0.2 mg/mL.
